 Connection Issues

Servers Connections
Once you've established an internet connection through your PC, your PC travels through several access points before actually connecting to our servers. If there are any problems, within or at any of those points, it will prevent you from logging into your account. This obviously is out of our control.

TeamMediaOnline.com servers are also monitored by an independent outside firm who tracks our servers and their response time. We are notified immediately when there is a problem. Hence, we are normally aware of down servers and are working to restore services before most clients experience any problems. We currently have a 99.9% uptime rating through internetseer.com.

One simple way to tell if it is your connection is to do a Trace Route. Trace Routes can be done from your DOS prompt by typing (from the windows directory):
c:\windows\tracert thedomain.com For network status call 417-862-7111 or visit http://teammedia.cc

E-mail Connections
If our servers are down or if you are experiencing problems connecting to your account for other reasons not involved with our servers, your e-mail is not going to work.

If you can log into your account as well as visit your site through your browser, then something is wrong either on your end or with your internet access.
The most common issue is that users have their smtp server set to their domain and not their ISP's mail server. Your configuration will look something like this:

Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server: YOUR ISP's MAIL SERVER

Other problems might be due to changing your password recently. Passwords on you site are independent of each other. If you change your control panel password it does not mean it will change your email password. You default email (your user name) will be set to the original password assigned to your system until you change it from the mail manager icon.
